Founded in August 2005 by Tram Pham Hill, M.D., Hill Wound Care (HWC) specializes in training, staffing and managing providers and clinical staff in the field of wound care and hyperbaric medicine. Dr. Hill began as the medical director of a single wound care clinic in Durant, OK. She and her team have successfully expanded HWC to staff the medical directors and mid-level providers at 7 wound care clinics throughout Texas and Arkansas along with an outreach program in the surrounding medical communities which includes nursing homes, rehab centers and skilled care units. Dr. Hill remains a full-time practicing wound care physician serving as the medical director at the LifeCare Wound Center of Plano, TX.
HWC's providers and clinical staff are available and prepared to provide a comprehensive advanced treatment plan for non-healing wounds. HWC's providers have over 100 years of combined wound care and hyperbaric medicine experience. They provide education to the larger community along with teaching advanced wound modalities to fellow specialists. Their philosophy is to consider the patient’s overall health and related comorbidities to their wounds. They also integrate the knowledge from their colleagues to provide a multidisciplinary approach to care. Dr. Hill and her team of providers have dedicated their careers in medicine to helping salvage limbs and assist in closing difficult wounds.

HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) helps the body’s oxygen-dependent, wound- healing mechanisms function more efficiently. While enclosed in a chamber at a greater than normal atmospheric pressure, patients breathe pure oxygen, saturating their blood plasma and allowing it to carry from 15 to 20 times the normal amount of healing oxygen to the body’s tissues. Up to 18% of wound care patients may require HBOT treatments provided by specialty-trained physicians, clinical hyperbaric technicians and staff.
